Dr Christine Taylor is a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry in Derbyshire. She has a special interest in the mental health aspects of Parkinson’s disease and offers psychiatric input into the Derby Parkinson’s service. 

She has recently set up an outpatient Clozapine initiation service for patients with Parkinson’s disease related psychosis and has recently completed a quality improvement project project funded by Parkinson’s UK looking into the benefits of psychiatric input in the Derby Parkinson’s service called “Mental Health Matters Too – Integration of Physical and Mental Health in a Multidisciplinary Parkinson’s Clinic​.”

Other special interest areas include dementia in footballers and alcohol use disorders in older people.
