The UK Parkinson’s Excellence Network have launched the Excellence Network Awards to recognise the outstanding services that make a real difference to people affected by Parkinson’s.
Great care for people affected by Parkinson’s is already happening. The Excellence Network wants to celebrate it and make it standard for each and every person living with Parkinson’s.
You can get involved by entering the Awards by Friday 28 October if your team delivers high-quality care that makes a difference to people affected by Parkinson’s. Alternatively, you can nominate a colleague by Friday 28 September if they deserve recognition for the care they deliver to people with Parkinson’s.
Professor David Burn, Clinical Director of the UK Parkinson’s Excellence Network comments:
No-one should have a monopoly on good ideas; if we all share what we are doing well, we can use these ideas as a basis for collaboration and make sure great practice has a huge impact on the way care is delivered, not solely in individual services but across the UK.
You can find out more about the Excellence Network Awards and how you can play your part to ensure people affected by Parkinson’s can expect quality services as standard at the Excellence Network website.
