Daiga has been with Parkinson’s UK for over 11 years and is responsible for leading the coordination of activities across the UK Parkinson’s Excellence Network, bringing together the professional community, Parkinson’s UK resources and the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to drive improvement in Parkinson’s care. Daiga has a wealth of clinical and management experience in the NHS. She trained as a nurse and moved into discharge management at Northwick Park Hospital where she was part of the team that set up
an intermediate care service. In 2002 Daiga moved into clinical education, delivering training programmes for overseas professionals and senior management. In the latter years in the NHS, Daiga was involved in workforce regional planning before moving to the charity sector with Parkinson’s UK in 2006.
