The Advanced MasterClass is designed for consultants, experienced Parkinson’s nurses, final year registrars, final year old age psychiatry registrars, GPwSIs, experienced neurosciences pharmacists, associate specialists and staff grade physicians. The course will advance understanding of Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders through taught sessions and mentorship (a mentor will be appointed for each participant where applicable).

Programme is being confirmed, please find below our programme for 2019 on which next year’s course will be structured. Please note that the 2020 MasterClass will have 2 two-day modules, unlike the 2019 programme below (three-day module 1 & one-day module 2).

Costs:

The course will cost £850 (incl. VAT), which includes all meeting materials and an evening dinner for both modules. Accommodation is not included in the course fee.

Delegates are responsible for their own accommodation and travel costs. We can offer you a rate of £75 at the course venue Halifax Hall hotel. Alternatively, there are cheaper rooms available at their sister hotel Jonas for £50 per night, also on the campus behind Halifax Hall. Both rates include breakfast at Halifax Hall.

Availability at Halifax Hall is limited to 38 bedrooms, therefore rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis and your payment to the hotel will secure your booking. With your confirmation you will receive further information on how to book your accommodation.

To complete the course delegates must return for module 2 where they will present their inter-module project/audit to the Academy. Failure to attend will result in the full cost of the course being charged to you. → Click here for module 2
