The Academy has launched a half-day Non-Motor Symptoms Roadshow for allied health professionals taking place in three areas. The motor features of Parkinson’s have traditionally been the focus of management, yet non-motor symptoms such as sleep disturbance, constipation and dementia are often the most problematic symptoms for patients.
These half-day MasterClasses, chaired by Dr Robin Fackrell and Louise Ebenezer, are a course specifically aimed at allied health professionals focused on recognising these challenging symptoms and managing them effectively. See the MasterClass programme for the first roadshow in Edinburgh for more information.
A further series of non-motor symptoms roadshows for clinicians is also currently in the planning stages – to register your interest please contact us.
The course costs £160 including VAT. The Academy can subsidise 50% of the course costs for the first 20 applicants for Sheffield.
